Here you will find details of my upcoming events and festival appearances

National Young Writers Festival: Thursday September 27 – Sunday September 30

The Best Book I (N)ever Read
Thursday 27 September, 5-6pm, Newcastle City Library
These writers have a confession to make. Tolstoy? Haven’t read it. Infinite Jest? Nope! The collected works of the Brontes? Not them either. Four writers dust off their to-be-read stack and discuss the classic books they’ve never read.

High Brow/Low Brow
Saturday 29 September, 2-3pm, Watt Space Gallery
Four writers discuss their work being critical and creative about low brow media, and how they cut through the cringe to find the generative artistic possibilities.

Anti-Slam
Sunday 30 September, 7-8pm, Newcastle City Library
An Antislam is where good poetry comes to die. It is a celebration of failure, where the worst poetry is crowned the winner. Open Mic Sign Up. Poetry Slam rules. Lowest score wins.
